This is Carlos Ramirez, originally from Mexico City and based in Vancouver, Canada.

My background in international business and fashion took me to diverse continents and cities where I saw fashion brands and stores selling the same luxury or mass-produced goods regardless of the city where I was - same products everywhere.

Being from Mexico, I knew of emerging Mexican brands and designers proud of their roots that wanted to express individuality combining their vision and talent with local and traditional craftsmanship to create collections full of authenticity in small quantities handmade by Mexican artisans to support local economies.

I started my business in 2013 offering unique, limited and artisan handmade leather shoes, boots, jackets, wallets, belts and bags by the Mexican brands Cuadra, Montserrat Messeguer and Mezcalero.

Throughout these years we have built a reputation as a trusted retailer of handmade quality leather goods in Vancouver. Especially. our shoes and boots are individually handcrafted, comfortable and durable.

My commitment is to promote Mexican craftsmanship, provide good jobs in Mexico and offer quality leather goods at a fair price in Canada.

Please note that after the pandemic, we closed our physical boutique Xixo Leather Artistry on Hornby Street in Downtown Vancouver in 2021.

We decided to adapt and continue our business as an online-only store.

I provide personal sales service in Metro Vancouver and you can contact us to set up an appointment at your home, office or at Terminal City Club in Downtown Vancouver.

We offer free shipping in Canada and continental USA via FedEx.
